Pulsko is an independent editorial guide to Pula and southern Istria. We help travellers choose where to stay, what deserves their time and how to handle the practical parts of a trip.
What we cover
Our focus is deliberately narrow: Pula's neighbourhoods, beaches, Roman sites, food, transport, events and the parts of southern Istria that work as realistic day trips. The site is organised around the decisions a visitor needs to make, not around publishing as many destination pages as possible.
What makes a Pulsko guide
A useful guide gives you the drawback as well as the recommendation. It distinguishes lasting local context from details that can change each season. Prices, timetables and opening hours are dated when they have been checked, and readers are asked to confirm important details with the operator before travelling.
Who writes the site
Articles are currently published under the collective byline Pulsko Team. We use a team byline where several people or tools contribute to research, drafting and maintenance. We do not attach a fictional individual identity to that work. Named contributor profiles will appear here when their identity, role and relevant experience can be shown accurately.
Independence and corrections
