Blue Flag pebble beach on Verudela with a shallow, gently shelving entry that makes it the best swimming spot near the city for small children. Showers, changing cubicles, sunbed and pedalo hire, two cafe terraces and a large car park sit right behind the beach, and a lifeguard watches the water from 10am to 6pm in season. Quieter than neighbouring Hawaii Beach, busier than the rocky coves. Arrive early on August weekends.
