Representative image — not a photograph of Hidrobaza Beach.

Hidrobaza is north of the city toward Puntižela, built around a former seaplane base from the last century, and the long pebble and concrete stretch still carries that industrial feel. It is dog-friendly and, because it faces west, it is a good spot for the evening when the light comes across the water. The drawback is the lack of comfort: there are no real facilities and little shade, so bring water, food and something to sit on, and plan to leave by the late afternoon if you want cover.
